Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this yet another thing Blizzard has said they wouldn't do (in the past), but are now doing?

PvE to PvP transfers....check
Gender changes....check
Name changes....check
Faction changes....check

I realize that the developmental costs are significantly different between the above changes and level 60 servers...but it's got me thinking that what we've all been waiting for might eventually happen now.

All of the above are paid services. Is it just me or does it seem like Blizzard are squeezing every bit of revenue they can from this game before it "dies"? I can't exactly see them announcing a decline in numbers but about a third of the people I play(ed) with have stopped playing. It also seems like they're putting less and less time and effort into updating the game, the tier 9 raid is insanely unimpressive, it's a room... I kid you not, a room. The gear that goes with it (Which can also be obtained from 5 mans, again, I don't jest.) looks okay but they now use eight set models, Cloth, Leather, Mail and Plate (One for the Alliance, one for Horde) recolored for their respected classes. Oh, did I mention that the five bosses inside are merely different skins of already overused models? It seems to me that Blizzard are just screaming "COME PLAY OUR NEW MMO!" at me.

WoW 2, anyone?
